Blue Mercury Financial Services was founded in 2012 and was the first Discovery Group Contractor (DGC) to be established by Discovery.

The DGC was a result of the success that the we had achieved having run an Independent Brokerage called Blue Mercury Trading since 2010. We were awarded this honour of being a Juristic Representative for Discovery.

The success of our business lies in the fact we created an entirely new way to sell insurance, and our innovative strategies continue to make us fore runners in this space. We are proud to know that we set a benchmark and strategy that was soon followed by other companies.

The brokerage has been rank the #1 DGC for Discovery Insure since 2012. Our achievements and awards are testament to our ability to tailor a solution to suit the need of our customers.

A customer first approach has always been the most important value for the organisation, and we pride ourselves on ensuring that every client is treated with the respect and importance that they deserve. As well as ensuring that every client gets first class after sales service.

We are also focused on developing young talent, and have watched young, inexperienced individuals not only grow within our organisation, but also in the Insurance Industry as a whole.

Our philosophy is to be in a constant state of change, looking at ways that we can take our best practices and improve them even further.  We also try to make our service better and more efficient, so that our customers are well taken care of.
